This institution has been imparting instruction in the conventional subjects from 1889 onwards. For the last 116 years, the college has been catering to the needs of the student community within its limitations. Students support programs are followed in this college. Tutorial system is introduced to ensure personal attention to students. Twenty Students are assigned to a group tutor. A group-tutor will guide the students in their personal academic and social areas of life in the campus. Seminars and discussions are often conducted in the college which gives an opportunity for students for their academic betterment. Eminent personalities from other Universities also take part in these Seminars.
