Any student passed in plus two stream can apply for Degree admissions. The student will be taught

Students who have taken Sanskrit as a subject in degree level are admitted for PG Courses.In the PG Level Semester System is followed from 2000 onward.
Research Center
Government Sanskrit College, Thiruvananthapuram is an accepted Research Center of the University of Kerala. Several Research Scholars are doing their full-time research work in this Center. Teaching faculties are guiding these Research Scholars.
The faculty members also undertake projects of the UGC.
Several teachers have completed Research Projects under UGC and sanction has been given to them for Minor Research Projects.
Library Facility
The Library consists of thousands of research books and individual works. It is going to be digitized soon. Rare books in Sanskrit like the Vedas are the main attraction of this archaic library.
