CONTINUING EDUCATION

Government Sanskrit College, Thiruvananthapruam is a sub centre of the Continuing Education, Government of Kerala. The centre is constituted by the Government of Kerala, for conducting job oriented short-term courses. Using the infra structure facilities available in the college, courses are conducted. The centre functions with Principal as Chairman and one of the senior Teacher as Manager. Job-oriented computer courses, and several other courses are being conducted in this centre. These out reach programs help the students, the teachers and public alike. They provide opportunity to college teachers to participate in extension activities which is one of the major dimensions of Higher Education.
Apart From Computer Courses the continuing education centre conducts Diploma in Jyothisha, Sanskrit, Communicative English, Pendulam, Fabric Painting, Hand Painting and Oil Painting. Beautician Course is also conducted here.
